About This Project
This contemporary art gallery had a reputation problem — not a bad one, just an invisible one. The existing identity felt institutional in a way that attracted art world insiders but left everyone else feeling like they weren't welcome.
The reimagined visual identity is built around a simple principle: the brand should frame the art, not compete with it. Bold typography, generous white space, and a monochromatic palette create a system that adapts to any exhibition while maintaining a consistent, recognizable presence.
The result is an identity that feels serious enough for the art world but approachable enough for the curious first-time visitor.

The Challenge
The gallery needed a fresh identity that could attract younger, more diverse audiences while respecting the institution's curatorial heritage and the gravity of the art it houses.
Our Approach
We designed a bold, typographic identity that acts as a frame rather than competing with the art. The system is deliberately minimal — it creates space for the work to speak, while bringing a contemporary energy that signals the gallery is alive and relevant, not a museum frozen in time.
Results
New identity successfully bridges traditional and contemporary audiences
Modular system adapts across exhibitions and seasons
Increased visibility in younger demographic
