About This Project
Baaris is a Turkish luxury skincare line that draws on centuries of Ottoman beauty traditions. The challenge was creating a brand that proudly celebrates its Turkish heritage while appealing to sophisticated consumers in international markets — from Dubai to London to Tokyo.
Our design approach started with research into traditional Turkish aesthetics: the geometric precision of Ottoman tilework, the warmth of hammam architecture, the elegance of Turkish calligraphic traditions. We distilled these influences into a modern minimalist visual language — one that feels culturally authentic without requiring cultural context to appreciate.
The packaging was recognized by Packaging of the World for successfully bridging tradition and modernity in luxury beauty.

The Challenge
Baaris, a Turkish luxury skincare line, needed brand identity and packaging that would bridge traditional Turkish aesthetics with modern minimalism. The brand was targeting international markets, so the design had to feel culturally authentic without being inaccessible to non-Turkish consumers.
Our Approach
We researched traditional Turkish design motifs — from Ottoman tilework to hammam architecture — and distilled them into a modern visual language. The result is a packaging system that feels unmistakably Turkish yet speaks a universal design language that resonates in London, Dubai, and Tokyo.
